Notes About The Poem

A Boy Born In Queens, New York

Donald Trump
besides from being the 45th and current President 
of the United States
is a father
and a good one at that
the love he has for his children is evident
and I find that a very positive quality
    he does not drink
        or smoke cigarettes or marijuana
            or consume drugs
                   I like that . . . 
he was born into wealth nothing wrong with that
he said, I took a small loan of a million from my father
to start my own real estate business
and from that beginning he grew and grew and grew
obviously he has ambition 
I admire that too . . . 
sometimes, I wonder if he ever imagined that he
would actually win the election to be 
President, but he did . . . quite an accomplishment
for a boy born in Queens, New York in 1946
yes, he has made mistakes, who hasn't
but regarding his border wall dream
I have to agree with him on that
borders must be protected somehow, someway
(we could use one in Canada)
I wish they would build a wall just like Donald wants
so I can find no fault in that dream
he is fighting for . . .
