I was out and about and wanted a bite.
A burger and a cold drink sounded good tonight.
So I pulled up to the Wendy's drive-thru,
And someone said to me, "How can we help you?"
I said, “I’d like to order a Whopper Junior please."
Complete silence greeted me. I wondered if he was ill at ease.
I said, “Are you there?" He was either ignoring me or didn’t care.
Then he said, "Ugh, ma’am, a Whopper Jr. is not on our fare.”
Then realizing where I was, I said, “OK, can I get a Jr. cheeseburger,
And have it my way?" to the patient worker.
I heard peals of laughter coming from inside,
Then he said, "You got it, here at Wendy's you won't be denied!
So that was my blonde moment of the day.
Next time, I will pay more attention to my way.
At least a good laugh was had by all.
Wendy's is great, I got it my way- they answered my call!
