A Blink of An Eye
A Blink of an Eye
I've seen many rainbows chased upon with honest pride
As a person's heart is beaming, beating with eyes open wide
Many peoples' heads smolder as their minds whirl with thoughts spun
Only time, knowledge, wisdom and purpose all rolls into one.
All God's children have grown and their feelings spread
Into larger industries, large fields while harvesting words unsaid
Nearby are tall tree limbs that dangle within and without concern
For many larger scenes love has arrived to live and learn.
All parent’s grandchildren play within their thoughts and dreams
While in loves hand, they must prepare life's many schemes
In past tense and now trusting a careful flow of happenstance
In all life's, illusions have passed, became much more than mere chance.
