A Better Place

"A Better Place"
il reste un trou où la vie a été ressentie; où êtes-vous allé - pour suivre vos rêves? Un meilleur endroit sans aucun doute. l'amour. toujours l'amour - c'est tout ce qui compte, ici et pour toujours. l'amour. (LadyLabyrinth / 2020)

The language of true Romance, the language of Love...well, Italian might have been more seductive. Regards, Eat-Love-Pray-Sleep-Wake-Eat-Love-....thank you, Senor. x

what I thought of when I saw that scene was we had just come through a generation of women clothed from head to foot and now that there was a little freedom the men in that era chose to put bathing suits on them and parade them around like cattle, women are correct we men are such pigs

You make a valid point. However, the women had a choice to parade or not...the freshness and innocence in their smiling faces would seem to indicate they were happy to parade. I go back to the sentiments of my poem, and rather than enter a debate about the emancipation of women or not, the poem is about the significance of pursuing ones dreams to a better place, and that place, is one of Love.

I loved the footage of voluptuous nubile women from a different era parading full fleshed in front of all the barking seals. xx I love this footage, of what would seem a better time, a better place, the beach with teeming life and of course....life is a rollercoaster, we all get off ... at the end of the ride "Someday". The footage inspired the poem.

We must follow our dreams or else that vacancy may become haunted by unwanted guests. As love goes heart speaks with massive power when the cravings are immense. Very lovely and inspiring piece my friend. And fav. God bless..
