Mable relishes to read She enjoys the mysteries As few chapters are read Every evening the same The pages are so exciting There is a lot of action A real page turner It keeps her interested Her eyes get heavy They are slowly closing She wants to stay awake Only to lose the battle Then drifts into a sleep Instead of reading

i battle to go to sleep....because sometimes my thoughts fall too deep....and inspiration is what i reap....and the reach of my pen is rather steep....because i realize why Jesus Remains To Weep....nicely done darlene....;)

Great poem Darlene! I can definitely relate to your words. Most nights this is the only way i can fall asleep but then i get annoyed when i lose my place in the book.
