A Spooky Party
Tables groaned with the weight of food
What a sight to behold, slimy eyeballs
floating around in green lizard soup
Skewered brains covered with dragons
blood and snakes venom sprinkled over
frogs legs strung on pigs intestines
Bats wings that are still flapping
rest on top of a cake full of treats of
bird feathers and vampire toe nails
The colourfully hideous group of guests
set upon it with the greatest of glee
this would sustain them until next year
Now done with feasting they party on
no need to fear until they are done
the children unawares do trick or treat
Come the strike of midnight all changes
now they set out looking for souls to steal
fools abroad now become prey to be hunted
Many vanish this hallowed night their fate unknown
so folks if you are partying this Hallow's eve
be sure to be home before the witching hour strikes
