Wistful Ride
Sombre thoughts blowing in the wind
As what ifs echo through my mind
Wishing goodbye was only so long
Wondering what is the right way to be wrong?
Silent canyons of the heart
Seek solace in the depths of doubt
Hope comes along for a wistful ride
And I die a little inside
Sacrificed my queen to win this game called love
But she was two moves ahead
Broken hearted pieces in a silent glide,
As I die a little inside
