The Depth of Death
An anesthesiologist knows
the depth of death.
Deeper levels one goes
on the rungs of the ladder
lead down to gray, it doesn’t matter.
The life force has left.
Do you ever wonder,
in that pseudo sleep
that they put you under?
One fatal mistake
the doctor may make
could lead to death so deep.
