Love (The Second Letter)
Sorry that it has taken me so long,
Although absence makes the heart grow fonder,
Resisting every urge to wander
Away from a lover, whose love is strong.
Hopefully, you will accept my love song,
Having responses that make me ponder,
As I am forced to be beyond yonder,
Loving you right, so I can do no wrong.
Each time I think of you shedding a tear,
Saddness infiltrates the depths of my heart.
Loving you, whether you be there or here,
Only proves that I want to play my part.
Very soon, we will be together dear,
Embracing each other right from the start.
