Eyes Alight

Eyes alight How far shall stretch our lost regrets? Here where sanity dwells, Is it attained by those with wisdom Or some who rest within; Until a twilight fades in the brake of day And darkness no longer shines, Then ever waits the soft embrace In a place where eyes alight Softly break the morning rays And gone nights silent breath, And lost remains our mortal faith Here in this early light; Still comes from out of life's emotion The measure of a day, Where brilliant shines the essence held In this place where eyes alight By M.Norton marklnorton@shaw.ca
