-body-

Poetry Day #5: Ballad -body- Needles are stuck in my skin, And a mask is on my face. Stitches line on my pale body, For I am just a disgrace. I am just another test, Another useless life form. I’ve grown used to the loud screams, In this place, torture’s the norm. They took off another limb, Leaving me without an arm. Though it hurts, I close my eyes, Nothing will save me from harm. I am just another test, Another body of scum. Closing my eyes once again, We all know freedom won’t come. I am just another test, Another useless life form. Crying from pain won’t save you, Because pain is still the norm.
