A Jolly Fisherman
One day, Jolly Ping went fishing
He was whistling while he was sitting
For the birds up on the tree were singing
To his catch they were patiently waiting
Beside him was his joyful dog Billy
Barking at the birds up on the tree
While his jolly cat Tilly
Was having an eating spree
He gently threw his fish hook in the water
His bait did sway and totter
In his eyes there was a glitter
The curious fishes came closer and closer
Then a cunning fish suddenly took a bite
Jolly Ping eagerly lifted his fish hook
Overjoyed by the scene in his sight
Jolly Ping pulled closer to look
Oh! What a big fish that he caught
Jolly Ping jumped in sudden ecstacy
Took out another earthworm that he brought
Then sang a joyful melody
The whole day was so jolly
For Ping had a lot of catch
He gave a sweet hug to his wife Molly
While his pets were there to watch
