The Stand
There they stand on no men’s’ land,
Two knights,
One from the dark, one from the light.
Face to face, they started their race,
Conjured a human war.
Dark knight: He strike with all his might,
Used Bible verses, cruel curses and
Blasphemy unto Thee.
Offered Him a world of splendor,
In returned He must renounced His sender.
Light Knight: His replied to the vendor was,
All these splendor belongs not to him,
But to the one and only King.
He who not seek the glory of His Father,
Is nor His sister or His brother.
Dark Knight: Got so angry and fierce,
He call upon his soldiers.
To take the knight to be crucify,
Hang Him ‘till He die.
Light Knight: He just smile, because
He knows He must die.
To offer Himself for salvation,
Was years ago a proclamation.
Dark Knight: On Good Friday he celebrated his victory,
His enemy hung on Calvary.
He thought he won the war,
His the one the world must adored.
Light Knight: On the third day the Earth gave away,
He rose from the grave and
Locked the dark knight in a cave.
Victory was His, and to all who want to receive.
His glory to live eternally.
