Single Mom

I am both parents to my kids, Sometimes I wish I was a witch. I would create a spell, To give unfaithful husbands hell. Deliberately they broke their vowels, And now you are a single spouse. Day and night you have to wonder, Do you fulfil their needs as a mother? Because you don’t want to neglect them as their father. Juggling your life between work and a house, There is no time for pleasures to feel arouse. You are the caregiver, the provider, the mother and father, Instead going on a date, You prefer to sleep in late. Exhausted and sometimes drain, You hope all your efforts are not in vain. Your kids will appreciate what you do, And in return just loving you.
