The Brave Ones

Ten poetess decided to go on a quest. To conquer the world not with a mighty sword, But with a pen and their dangerous words. Everywhere they go, the audience will file single rows. To hear how they speak, their wisdom they seek. One pulled an arrow out of a quiver. Ready she released the string, And with her words, the world blossom into spring. Another one pulled out a sword and wrote her words. Amazed, before her eyes, everyone started to cry, She wrote, “My father recently died.” Next was Jane, who pulled out a gun, shoot in the air, I was betrayed by my ex-husband who had an affair. And like the three before, all the others were adored. For their wisdom they brought to an unholy world. When they had to say goodbye, Their audience every time cried. Because unlike them, they were not so brave, To speak out, about their sorrows and pain.
