Charting the Unknown (Revised)

While traveling through a mist of lost direction; My search is for memories left behind. I am tethered to the present by a silken line which I cling to as; A Protection against all fears of the unknown; And the future (as always) maintains its ambiguity. And with my guitar comes a melody; That fits a fore lone song; And with the lyrics comes this mystery. Is what has passed now gone?
