So Little
The want is over. The need misread.
Though I cannot remove, thoughts of our fight...
from inside of my head.
You only could give me-so little of your time...
I needed to be near you most all of mine.
The summer it slowed.......The tempeture rose
And then fizzled-so quickly-and then questions arose.
We both agreed one thing..Our kids... they came first.
We'd always be friends..... and never the worse.
Now- weeks have passed,Youve dodged all my calls
And though I'm the guy- you've shown- you have balls.
So... Go...And move on...It was only one summers heat.
Some "fun"but not love...as we sweat up your sheets.
The want is over...The needs were misread.
And, all We've got left is feelings of dred.
You could only give me...so little...
