The battle had begun, Thought that I was devastated, Blood oozing out like an ocean of pain, Thought that I was shattered, To pieces by a storm, I was running out of hope, In the very garden of my dreams, The sun was crying through our sweat, As if it had been a witness to this trauma, Innocent buds were crushed down, To a doomed graveyard underground, Where even sunlight would not go, To resurrect them, Then, there was a ray of light, From the moon, Guiding us from darkness to light, Bringing us new hope and a new life, That would be started afresh!
