Julius Lawrence Poet Free verse

2020 To 2021

God renewing the hearts of His people
He's the heart keeper
Some are weeping
like a willow tree
shedding it leaves
preparing for winter.

2020 to 2021
no one knows 
what's behind close door
only God knows, others are guessing
what a lesson He is showing us
like a wood-burning store
turning wood into ashes
consuming the old bring out the new
spreading the dust of ashes.

Compassion what He has
because ours do not last
What class are you in
from the beginning to the end
not just now and then
ours can not win.

"I AM THE HEART KEEPER"
that is what He says,
"I HAVE compassion on all,
those who pass and those who falls"
2020 to 2021
that's why He sent His Son
past, present and future.
