Chile's goalkeeper Christiane Endler VISA Player of the Match

"Only a tremendous effort by Chile's goalkeeper, Christiane Endler, kept the United States-Chile result closer than something resembling the scoreline in the Americans' first game against Thailand. Endler was named player of the game, a rare occurrence for a goalkeeper in a game in which her team lost by three goals and was outshot, 26-1." --The New York Times
