2012 Prophecies

Nostradamus quatrains
     Famous Frenchman’s foreboding forecasts
     History’s course, well-charted in rhyme

Startling revelations
Called Hitler “Hister,” brothers three – Kennedys
Forewarned the fall of “New City’s” twin towers

Dire observations
     Verses recently discovered reveal
     Civilization’s demise, two thousand twelve

Further consternation
     Stretching across cold Atlantic waters
Unknown to him, two tribes concur

Hopi, Mayan predictions
The end of time draws near; final years
Proclaimed in calendars, written in sky

Chilling Armageddon
Nuclear war; stars and planets collide
Hellish fury fuels the clash; Earth dies

Sacred retribution
When on the winter solstice, man harkens
To the call of God; Judgment Day arrives

A good reminder for all humanities that we still have time to embrace the real truth by living in the Grace of God is our only hope for all these predictions. Very nice entry for this contest and congratulations on your well deserved win, Carolyn. (^_^) Noel.

I like the way you laid this out. That is about the same as I wanted to write, except I wasn't thinking about the headings. I was disappointed in mine so did not enter. This came across very well though. It is very visual and I actually got a little chill reading the last three words. Predictions can only come true if it is the will of God. So, I mentally try to accept what God has in store for me. That will not change a thing except my attitude during life.

Hi Carolyn! Not all of Nostradamus' prophecies should be taken serious, but for sure he was right sometimes. We all will survive 2012! But if man made disasters will continue then he for sure would be right some day. All the best! And thank you for your onging kind comments!...Love, Gert

it sure is an interesting thing to think about, to some its horror in their minds. but its kind of scary as well. people say we've messed up the calendars so much that the prediction by the mayans & notradamus might not be as true though. but i don't really think, somehow "we" messing up the calendar so much really made a difference if the mayans predicted through vision, if you kind of get what i mean by that..but who knows. ~Always

Incredible write, Carolyn! But you know, it really depends on what man will do. Simply put, will he push the button or will he search for peace? The latter will prevent catastrophic prophesies to come true. Thanks for sharing, my friend. Best wishes, Caroline.
