A slave bought by rich man named John Wheatley lived with his family
She had 3 children
Married a man who treated her badly
Lover of books and words was taught how to read and write a very bright child
Who felt sad when her host adopted family died leaving her all alone
Had her book of poetry published in England, published in 1773
Came back to America wrote a poem General George Washington
All her life she wanted to be in a family, publishing of her poems works
Resident of Boston Massachusetts
