19 Years Since the Curtain Was Drawn
19 years since the curtain was drawn.
It would have been a shame
If my life were to be the same.
When the curtain was drawn 19 years ago,
I was a mere teenager, what could I have done.
A raging battle was there for me to face,
A mere teenager what could I have done.
Yet I never fled at the face of battle.
For my father taught me to fight and never retreat.
Although the battle raged on more and more,
I conquered each, one by one.
A mere teenager but I could do a lot.
For the battles moulded, sharpened and toughened me,
Until I became an adult with so much to do.
19 years since the curtain was drawn,
I have grown indeed with so much to do.
It would have been a shame,
If my life were to be the same
For the past 19 years since the curtain was drawn.
