12 Painful Steps



Twelve,
Painful,
Steps to take.
Day after day,
One day at a time.
Each small step brings you peace,
A feeling that had been lost.
This peace fuels you for the next step.
This journey will be extremely hard,
But you are strong, ready. Take that first step.
