-world-

Daily Poetry #57, March 26, 2017 Word: World Do you see the world that shatters so suddenly? From just a single thread of fate, everything changes, With only a few words, everything rearranges. Like a puzzle that only I can see so clearly. People, shapes, colours, they all blur into one sight, Making it hard to see what’s really there. To walk without knowing, it’s a pain I can’t bear, So I blink away tears and to live, I fight. Like a wall that’s so fragile, this reality crumbles as well, Leaving me to wonder if I should waste my time. This world that has nothing, no reason, no rhyme. Couldn’t it just fix itself? Only time will tell. I turn away from what I know is fake, So I no longer have to face my pain. As I cry, this world fills with rain, Because this thing has had more than it can take. Do you see the world that is being put together? From just a single thread of fate, everything changes, With only a few words, everything rearranges, Like a puzzle I will put together forever.
