-sometimes I Wonder-

~Sometimes I Wonder~

~~X~~ Sometimes I wonder What it would be like To feel that stirring within me. To feel that first kick inside, Knowing there was that little someone Depending on me, Just waiting to come into this world. Sometimes I wonder About the joy a woman must feel To announce to her loved one That she had been blessed And would be expecting their child. How proud she must be When she tells her family the good news. Sometimes I wonder What it would be like to feel Another life growing inside my own, Knowing its very existence depended on me. To experience that beautiful nine months, Of growing anticipation Before feeling the pain of giving birth. Sometimes I wonder What it would have been like To see my child grow from tot to teen And all the years that went in between. To hold her close to my heart, To experience that bond that Only a Mother and her child could share. Sometimes I wonder And it makes me so blue. How my life would have turned out, Had I not lost my child so many years ago. But I thank God That I have people to love. ...Still... Sometimes I Wonder.

This is so sad Jenni. I have been blessed with four children and I am so grateful for their lives. This is a beautiful tribute to that little life lost! : )
