Word: Mature
I’ve
seen the
world and all
of it’s beauty,
I’ve walked a long road
and have seen many things.
I’ve felt the pain of heartbreak,
of being alone, but also,
the pain of giving life to the world.
Having given everything, I’m content.
I sit in my chair and weave stories, for
nonsense will be the only thing to
fill this quiet and empty room.
Echoing that murmur of
time, I pass on what I
have learned from walking.
But as I look,
my path is
at it’s
end.
