-just One Emotion-
you rubbed salt in your wounds
as if you were aching for scars-
lost in a labyrinth of dismay,
jaded and faded,
in pain saturated;
i feared i may lose you in the depth
of sated sentiments-
a loss reminiscing on what was and
what may become kind once more
you beautify the sky-
o’er the mossy mount lies your inspiration-
never ending sacrifices for a muse too
rough to endure
for you are a cataclysm of upheaval-
strolling along roads leading to a
universe that feeds its desires with
fear and resentment
but
i am here to heal your disease,
stirring remedies in mason jars so
you can feel once more…
just one emotion-
one tear shed

I WONDER IF YOU KNOW...
you are the magic in the sky
that holds up the stars
