Woke up this morning with forgiveness in mind Thought about all the hurt and pain I've went through The tears that seemed endless My heart broken in two Looking in the mirror not seeing who I was Thought about giving up never wanting to feel love again No hope in sight But out of the blue The world seemed to turn in the right direction Forgiveness was the only answer I couldn't change my fate that was dealt Ran out of lucky charms, used up all my wishes Needed to feel something more than sorrow Sliver of hope was shinning in my sight Woke up this morning with forgiveness in mind Felt no hurt and the pain subsided My tears dried up My heart is mended I see who I am when I look into the mirror I finally choose to and forgave a love that was blind I've forgiven myself for my choices at your time.
