-caribbean Flavor-

Caribbean Flavor. ~~***~~ Cool Caribbean breeze Softly whispering your name Intoxicating. West Indies waters Cooling my heated body Invigorating. Tall coconut trees Towering over the sea Intimidating. ~~***~~

Yes, I envision and I feel the flavor of the Caribbean. I was able to take a cruise of the Bahamas a long time ago. Those were wonderful days. Never to return. This made me think of that.

Considering this is your first Choka I must compliment you on this lovely poem, Jenni. I have always wanted to visit the Caribbean, and you tempt me even more with your words' flavour. (pls chk syllable count line 1) ~ Regards // paul

Hi Paul, thank you so very much for your generous compliment! Thanks also for pointing out my mistake in the count of the first line. I looked it up and realised you are correct. Thanks again. Jenni

Wow!! I've never been referred to as an 'accomplished writer'. Thank you for your kind and encouraging words. Before yesterday I had never heard the word "Choka" in relation to poetry.
