Our senses are activated The path I walk is not untouched A path that will never be overgrown Golden yellow, moist aspen leaf covers the ground The sun casts its rays between the trees the whole landscape looks alike a painting Attention is changing Are you an autumn person, you will definitely enjoy this day A color play that makes an impression on most people who love nature The imagination comes alive Can you hear, the beaver strikes with its tail in the water The cold has left its mark on nature Relentless death, is glowing in the wind The longing, whispering silently through my mind A fireplace and a blanket are a sure winner 23.10.2020 Sun :) - A-L Andresen :) Copyright © All Rights Reserved Still-Life Autumn Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Eve Roper 3rd place in the contest

Lovely visual write and stunning picture.Love the beaver.Even in autumn and cold winter. Beauty abounds among the decay. if only we open our eyes and hearts. Love the last stanzas. Such a wonderful cozy image. Very well one. hope you won. take care. Pete.
