Not winter wonderland when below freezing and snow and ice storm. Very good imagery in your contest entry, Anne-Lise. Good luck! A poet friend in Texas, Bill

I found your poem realistically chilling. I felt the cold right down to my bones! We don't experience that level of cold here in Texas...burrrr! Have a splendid evening, hugs, Sara

Can't imagine going out in such cold. Whoa!! Reads like a good contender for a contest if written for one. Thanks for sharing and for dropping by my page. Sara K

Anne-Lise, you have composed a very profound verse. Because cold weather is typically uncomfortable, preventing hypothermia is critical. You have chosen an extremely wise passage.
