A mixture of emotions in this string of Kimo, Anne-Lise. Cancer used to be a 'whispered' about topic; now it is important to bring awareness; caught in time can be life-saving. "We'll do this together" is the support that instills hope and strength. Hugs // paul

This is a really sad and beautiful poem, we all have to die one day, death is inevitable but I do hope that when that time comes, it comes like a friend rather than enemy, if it pains, the pain should only be of seconds or minute, but cancer, O God, it kills you everyday, you know you are going to die, especially when it comes to chemo,you just wait there for death to come and bear the pain, your last stanza was really beautiful I see that it is for a contest, so I wish you best of luck in it,

Wonderful write Anne Lise. It's so important to have the love and support of friends and family when you are ill with a life threatening disease.
