Four by Four Poetry Contest

1st place in the contest

God created the earth everything has a logic A gorgeous place, but affected by blameworthy choice Lend us clean air its touch so light Breathe... the lungs satisfied a gift so dear Life-giving water stream You fill your glass a matter of course Several different water qualities The red fire blazes is it for love or is it hate ? Eyes with tender tears

The environmental message comes through and the spiritual quality you create makes this a thought provoking read. Indeed the world could be a great place if we’d only take the trouble to understand our surroundings.

Yes, a fire in the fireplace can be romantic and then a fire can be to kill or cover up a murder. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K
