When she takes her life into her own hands with fingers that read braille from dot to dot Refuse to live in the void of darkness between A-Y No boat was built to stand on shore She wants to remove the writing itch from dot to dot Soft words that tickle the tongue Let light shine in all lighthouses over the seven seas Read all favorite books over and over again creating images sprinkled with angel dust free rein to your imagination For those who are blind or visually impaired a brilliant invention Read and write from dot to dot to a flood of experiences 15.11.2022 Sun :) - A-L Andresen :) Copyright © All Rights Reserved

some of your lines (for me) were describing parts of the life of Helen Keller and her writings. Did I get that right? Especially her metaphor for the lighthouse on the stormy sea before she understood sign language. Very good!

- I had to google Helen Keller ... maybe I should know who she was ... but, never heard of her ... I don't know the history of Braille ... these were the only "dots" I could think of ... pure imagination, Andrea :) - hugs

This is an outstanding tribute to our brothers and sisters that lack the ability to see with their eyes but whose souls are illuminated by God's light! Superbly written, my dearest, Anne-Lise. Be blessed!

Good write, Anne-Lise. Without those little dots, so many would not see through their fingers, all the things we are privileged to observe.
