Falsehood and lies do no one any benefit Every lie is a mask with a lie one exposes one's own dignity Fake people are poor in spirit In the profile, people are real they don't realize they are being watched Everyone says they are friends - naive are those who trust them 27.05.2023 Anne-Lise Andresen Copyright © All Rights Reserved

Honesty and truthfulness are great virtues where as lies and falsehood distance one from truly genuine people. A very meaningful poem dear Anne.

True friends are always there for you, fake friends only appear when they want something. I like this one…True friends are those who lift you up, when no one else even noticed you were down. The cutest picture ever, Anne-Lise!

- Fake people can speak with a soft and beautiful voice... and "wish you all the best"... they are not always so easy to "see"... but, they do not relate to their own words... "sweet lies" - but a lie is a lie in my eyes... white or black... and I hate it, Anaya - Many thanks for your comment - hugs

Anne-Lise, a powerful poem. Life is full of chameleons. Some are also selfish at the sake of hurting others. I will always forgive others for their actions but never forget.

- Yes, it's true, life is full of chameleons ... I find it easy to forgive ... but it's not forgotten ... the friendship has ended from my side ... I don't tolerate lies ... it smells rotten, Tania - Many thanks for your comment - hugs

Boy, how trusting we are,,zThen, crunch. Your friends like vampires suck your blood And destroy you at this site! But you matter, Karma smacks down liars very hard,)))They pose as your friends, but cervind them gone busy destroying other people here or other places. I called in sick., just let it go and be the wonderful person you are..Pangie

Anne-Lise, your poem beautifully captures the sorrow that comes with discovering a supposed friend's true nature. The accompanying image also adds to the sentiment. Deceit and falsehood only bring harm to everyone involved. Each lie serves as a disguise that ultimately does not benefit anyone.

- True, Las ... people who can't speak the truth...should shut their mouths...I've kept my mouth shut for a long time...disappointed...but not the end of the world...the weeds must leave my garden - Many thanks for your comment - hugs

there are friends and then there are friends, sometimes our hearts know the difference instantly other times we learn through experience, what a wonderful reminder you give us today Sunshine. I feel blessed to have a few real stars in my sky, the rest dont' matter , just passer by love xo

It’s terrible to find out that someone you thought was a friend really isn’t, Anne-Lise, and your poem expresses that quite well. Love the picture, too!

Wow! I am shocked by some interviews where people admit they lie all the time and also other shameful things. It is not that any of us are perfect but habits matter and so does character. Love the pic. God bless you, dear one! Hugs ~ Kim
