Hello DG... me and my son are reading Haiku. right now... I will go down your list and hope he gets the concept.. I can not explain them to him. However He is very curious. Hope you do not mind. After all you are the best haiku teacher and artist in my eyes. always~ LINDA

I read the checklist, but I don't have the rules down. is this truly a haiku? long ago, when I was in school, I was told there was the japanese version, which was haikus on nature, and the "Western" version, which was pretty much everything else. I think i have probably mislabeled some of my poems because of this way of thinking.
