___hello kitty___

pretty and stylish
clean sassy paw print shower
purr-fect flower smell

__sea of stupidity___

life without reason
beauty vanished common sense
follow the leader

___city dreams___

low rise grey sunrise
dusty wind music terror
crystal clear sunset.

___brain storming___

business in the sky
thirst engraved in my sand wall
wishing well compel

___live bait___

catch me if you can
deep under salty water
aquatic spew smell

___turtle wax___

twisted fresh smell
beautiful shine in the sun
clear crystal rain X

___lonely and apart___

an empty kettle
fall like a flower petal
wet window ledge

___ Margarita Time__

stainless creation
blizzard form from tornado
cold temptations

___ withdrawals ___

clouds hide down below
my heart, my body, my soul
a certain form lost

Nice conglomeration of haikus and senryus....the Martguerita lines were cool and refreshing...I really like the empty kettle fall like a flower petal-wet window ledge! This is an extraordinary haiku....You are so diverse in your writing, POET DESTROYER. Care to share how u came up with this super hero writer's name? ...I want a name like yours too! Make up one for me. ha ha

Where to begin? There is a considerable flow of nature in these poems. They have a definite humidity to them, like you are observing from some close point, and experiencing with your whole body. I'm just carrying on. will have to read these again. Love, daver

haiku do not use metaphor or simile or personification, what you have above is a whole bunch of VERY creative FREE VERSE. Let me know if you want to try again? Light & Love

Wow PD, you asked for correction but wow, hold on to your hat #1 verse [and all below it haiku do not have titles, why? well partly because they are supposed to be open ended /on both ends, the beginning and the end/ so the next person can add a haiku before or after it] seems to be about a cat [mostly I'm guessing because of your title which is cheating ;)] haiku must have 2 parts this seems to be only one, haiku must have a seasonal refferance this has none #2 verse same problems as verse

@misty mourning, I checked out the link you put in here-- this Chris/Christopher Fox Graham (Fox the Poet) is totally a different person from pd? I don't think pd was trying to offend you at all--her contest was just inspired by the inner animal blog that I posted a while back-- please don't think that anybody is offending you. I am sorry that you had undergone so much hurt from the past, but rest assured that pd isn't trying to hurt you or anybody

Sure enjoyed reading all your haiku, pd :) I liked a bunch of them-- maybe you will even host a haiku crazy contest soon :)! & hmmm- I think there is some sort of confusion here?
