My hero My Teacher My doctor I still call you, My last and forever my treasured dreamer, My moral teacher who never failed me, The holding branch of my life, And the only known fighter in my life. Mommy! Mommy! You taught me how to live, By stretching my hands to reach the sky And you told me it is the key to my future, To hold on even when the rope is thinner, To fight even if the disaster is unknown to me, To smile even if I don’t mean it, To show happiness in moments of sadness, To find the solution even if giving up is the easier path. Mommy! Mommy! I think of the time we spent together, The love you gave me as if I was the only king, The memories flow like it was yesterday, How caring you were when I was sick, The soothing songs you would sing to me, My favorite late-night talks and stories, Are some of the memories I can’t erase from my mind. My hero Mommy You stood up for the weak me, You didn’t have stock in fear, You blossomed like the roses in our garden, The need to protect me being your main goal. Mommy! Mommy! You taught me that devastation is learning, Falling is not failing but a sign to proceed, That success is not fished from wells or mountains, Neither is time measured by the breath of our lungs, But through the actions that take our time. Mommy my pride. You taught me to be proud of myself, To love and cherish the work of my hand, To hold the dragons of my enemies closer, And lead them to my success story as I sing, I am proud of you mommy
