Poem

I know I'm supposed to be panicking
But I'm as calm as ever
Even though my feet are tired, because I've been walking through this storm forever
I refuse to dress it up,I'm not here to put clothes on the mannequin

I chose to stand up while you stood still
I let the world see me naked while you dressed up
I learned to walk alone because I don't know how love feels
They kicked me while I was down, but I chose to get up 

Legs aching, body sore, wounds bleeding but I'm still going
Every battle is different, I've learned to adjust to each moment
I may be last in line, but I've got my eyes on the prize
I guarantee, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, and Brock Lesnar would be proud of my fight

It's time to become winners, so we're no longer thought of as victims
The best lesson I learned, was when I was Taught to be different
I'll give my all, but I won't feel embarrassed if I fall short on my mission 
You can't lose, once you stop caring about people's thoughts on your living 

I love girls, but I need to stay single for a while in order to grow
You can let the world murder your dreams, or you can fight and slaughter the show
Rise from the ashes, and show the world why you deserve it
The world doesn't hand chances out, that's why i'm not asking for help to show that I'm worth it

I can do that myself, sorry if that sounds cocky
I've battled depression for 11 years and I'm still here
Maybe that's why I feel like nothing can stop me
You either let your fear kill you, or you fight back and kill fear
