I gave you my all and you couldn't even give me half back
I was honest and told you I came with scars attached
I put you in a win, win situation and you still managed to lose
You made me see I deserve better, so this is my Favourite kind of abuse 

It seems that Cupid put me in the wrong love plans
You prefer the attention of numerous men, than the love of one good man 
I gave you everything I had, now wishing I gave you less
You tore my heart in two, I need to replace my chest 

the art of not caring I thought I mastered it
Until I fell for a dream that turned into temporary happiness
I thought we were on the same page, but the chapter ripped
Shed so many tears,I forgot what Laughter is 

The truth is, I'm ashamed of the lies I fell for
I didn't do anything wrong, but it's something I struggle to forgive myself for
Should I have chose another?, or went another way?
But I tried to catch everything that was sent my way 

Bit you dropped me into a black hole that I only just got out from
I was fighting a losing battle that I've just now won
Because you taught me I could heal myself and how to survive
I may have been broken, but I'm twice as strong now and the new me has arrived
