In Moments As Bright As A Crimson Rose

The fading hours, as Hope prevails
Moments bright as a crimson rose
Ships deliver Hope with full sails
Into needed lives that it chose
No matter those hard, rocky shores
Where broken souls, lay in deep pain
No longer kept are those old scores
Washed away are wicked dark stains

Nights come and shadows do not prowl
Nor wicked dreams dare sleep deny
Gone are the beasts that roar and howl
Under a dark moon's weeping sky
As the past gives up its sorrows
Heart finds a new cause to rejoice
New Life and Love seeds tomorrow
With pure joy in each singing voice

Forever gone are bleeding eyes
cleansed by our new happier thoughts
Again sun lights up blue skies
This the blessed gift, Hope's lights brought
Once where utter darkness had reigned
Day and night both bring healing sights
All that was lost is now regained
Hope and Love shine forth brighter lights

It is not losses we must score
Nor pain and sorrows we endure
It is love of life and much more
In depths of souls that will be pure
Where new orchards we shall soon find
Growing crops that yield sweeter fruits
As we leave our past that so blinds
Sight of our spiritual roots
