Poem
I crossed into Vienna, VIA courthouse road still trying to figure want it was all about Then I see where courthouse road ends right at church street den The road continue from court house road and filters into lawyers road Yet again I journeyed along Lawyers road to search for deeper meaning The smell of bunt wood saturate the air spreading a foul smell far and near Big houses lined on either side of the street with mistletoe hanging on windows, doors mailboxes and trees I came to a specific house and Christmas decoration spread out all around bad Santa , bad reindeers and artificial angels flying in the air I just didn't know what to make of it everything was just madness there was so much confusion and redundant Christmas decoration foating around I move quickly away from this place and continued my journey When I reached the corner of Garret street something start to rattle my heart beat Bamboo cluster hang from the corner and an exaggerated yard laden with Christmas decoration spread out on the other side of the road A man suddenly emerged from Garret street and I asked him about the bamboo across the street There was no water around yet something was keeping the bamboo plant green and bold They were fresh and healthy as if they were being nourished by somebody I rode up the street and circled around the bend looking for the end As I rode down the road the smell of animal dung floats in the air spreading a stinking smell everywhere I finally come to the end of the trail and stumbled upon a pile of dirt signaling that the side walk is complete suddenly spiritual song starts to sing "Oh satan is on our track and he's trying to turn us back Now you better run, better run to The Rock " I try desperate to zoom it out but it kept singing out loud The side walk ended and I have to push my bike and walk in the bushes along the street Again I stumbled upon another bamboo patch green and healthy as my back But there was no question about that water was running from a nearby creek watering the bamboo trees and keeping them alive Finally Lawyers road came to an end As I Left Lawyers road and enter Hunter Mills road These words came shouting out."The proof is in the pudding" There is something unique when you pass through the rich mans territory No side walks, no bus stops only big walls with high gates many side roads, big white house with white fences and big yards that could build ten town houses I come across twenty three ten and I felt as if I had entered the lion's den A big iron gate and a palace leading towards heaven I wonder what was going on there just as I thought about it A man drove out from within and something felt strange The gate was wide open and three cars parked in front of the house I don't know if they were the rightful owners, squatters or renters But Christmas was not showing, the lions were intimidating I kept hunting on hunter mills road trying to unburden my heavy load and for the third time in a row another patch of bamboo plant appears They were sitting in front of a red mail box and the drainage was running under The def man said that him can't hear but he hears what he wants to hear The blind man said that he cannot see but he sees what he wants to see And so the hidden road is below sucking the life out of you and me But the proof in the pudding is hanging about. I cannot bear it any longer I am going to speak out!
