"LUX VITAE" (A Christmas Poem for Georgia) Golden Light guide her Home Surround her with your Love Give her Courage to always find Faith in you Sacred One Place your hand in hers as she walks her lonely twisting foggy Road Close her ears from all false talk to Trust her heart and voice alone Stand beside her when she fears Annointed with your Holy Tears and show her Thy Will Be Done Remind her there are sacrifices Far greater than she could bear And that you went through all of that to keep your believers near Swim with her in all the Oceans Keep all her Sharks at Bay Sing the Dolphins unto her So that she is always safe, with freedom she can play Golden Light guide me Home Surround me with your Love Give me Courage to find the Faith in you Sacred One Place your hand in mine as I run through all the minefields of my mind Give me Strength to find the Truth in your words of Loyalty and Love sublime Swim with me in all my Oceans Keep my Sharks at bay Sing my child back to my open arms So she knows she is always safe that way Remind her there are sacrifices Far greater than she could bear And that her mother goes through all of that to keep her ever safe and she is always near Golden Light carry her when she is lost and broken Guide her to the LIGHT I shine,my LOVE her truest token Bring her safely, through all her journeys back to Home her safe harbour when she needs me most Whisper in her memory that I am not a ghost Golden Light sit with her while she cries alone tell her there are promises I’ve always kept, that they have never flown Place those pearls over her head let their strings fall upon her heart Impress upon her they are hers now to own that they have always been with her take her right back to the start. Golden Light remain close by Adorn us with your protective Shield Divine Advise her there are ‘real’ battles to be won with certainty and that The True Believers who stand by you Will have the final Victory LUX VITAE stand with me as I draw my sword of Truth & Honesty Prepare me for the Regiment of Love,Faith,Hope,Courage Respect,Loyalty & Dignity to battle all those vast terrible dark brutal Legions of Hypocrisy Place your bleeding palms upon my head as I kneel before you my King, the King of Kings hear this I do beseech Always know in your heart this my highest promise I do solemnly keep this my truest vow I do bestow: I will ALWAYS fight for You. This, you always know. LUX VITAE (Lovejoy-Burton/2017 Dec)
