Breathless and bare you subtly stare,
reckless with flair, I can barely stand-
You flutter your fingers through my hair, 
as I gently take your masculine hand. 
Only the Lord above can understand,
WE SHARE A BOND BEYOND COMPARE.

Quietly quaint, I feel I should faint, 
alone no more beyond the closed door-
I’ll sit as my silhouette you’ll paint,
this is what this life is good for.
It’s always been you that I adore,
when I’m with you I have no complaint. 

Unspoken, broken and utterly shattered, 
scarred beyond measure was I-
It’s always been you that mattered,
before you I was a lost butterfly.
Now I sing in choirs with angels on high-
you came to me, my heart pitter-pattered. 

So tender and kind, I'm outta my mind,
for you bring ease to my stress-
We are beauty and passion combined,
you make my soul shine, I must confess.
Before you I was a drifting mess, 
now we are one, our stars have aligned. 

        ~I never knew of a love so rare...
