Poem
Like the Evening Star guided ancient mariners through calm or troubled seas Let it guide and help spread this message of Peace to the far ends of galaxies May it become the ‘Swan Song Poem’ of all time for one and all to see and perhaps even reach world leaders. Please Share it and make this a powerful message. (This ‘Pyramid of Peace’ concept was devised by Winged Warrior and Maria Williams) Written in conjunction with the input of the remarkable Poets of this Poetic community. Thanks all our friends, let’s spread the word. ~~~~~*~~~~~ May the ambient Angel's singing adorn this blessed earth - ~Winged Warrior~ Lay our cares and troubles aside linking arms as in rebirth - ~Maria Williams~ Let the armada of love set sail To kiss the shores of those who need healing - ~Silent One~ ~*~ And across the seas of difference To hearts in need of loving - ~Carole Duet~ Open our heart and souls in giving, thus we truly live - ~Robert J.Lindley~ May we find the strength and conviction to love and forgive - ~Paul Callus~ And bring smiles to others by the way that we live - ~Becca Tegan~ Accepting our task beyond any reason or control - ~Cecilia Crasto~ Assiduously all souls strive for the very same goal - ~White Wolf~ Help me, O Lord, to regain that wide-eyed compassion and peace that comes with trust - ~Victor Buhagiar~ A prayer for the vision to see beauty and love in the living world around us - ~Anne-Lise~ Peaceful bodies, peaceful minds A peaceful world when our love combines - ~Arturo Michael~ May the world find joy in the winds of peace - ~Joseph May~ The thunder of war will be silenced when humanity’s roar for peace is heard - ~Demetrios Trifiatis~ Praying for the day when hostilities cease - ~Vijay Pandit~ May you watch over us as we travel the path of life - ~John Gondolf~ ~*~ When this world is full of troubles gone rife Let us as poets bring together a life without strife - ~Brenda Chiri~ Though time zones separate us like a vagrant breeze We are connected by our willingness to share our selves with our hearts' ease - ~nette onclaud~ Whether young or old, big or small, we wish for peace for one an all -~raw thinker~ Let there be light to shine the way for each other today - ~Heidi Sands~ While angel wings cradle us with their warmth as we pray - ~Eve Roper~ Let there be righteous examples of kindness to show us the way - ~Andrea Dietrich~ Sharing sapiential pearls of peace in spiritual strands of unity - ~Susan Ashley~ We will set sail on a peaceful voyage from now to eternity - ~Martin Williams~ May the flowers of peace outgrow the weeds of war - ~Robert Haigh~ And tranquil grasses be not imbrued red anymore - ~George V~ Drink from the fountain of his love and ye shall thirst no more - ~Annieve Leonardi~ That man war no more ten thousand angels sent to sing To this humble place 'A Star of Peace' this night would bring - ~Old Buck~ Fill our hearts with your heavenly joy so we find true happiness - ~Akkina Downing~ Blessed be our union in prayer as we implore your kindness - ~Afzal Nusker~ My heart fills with wonder at celestial creations Gleaming Peace not just for me but for entire nations - ~Judith S~ Huddled as one in winter’s dark, may unity light salvation’s spark- ~Ilona Rapp~ ~*~ Profound closing words from our friend, a spiritual and philosophic guru - ~Demetrios Trifiatis~ No land or sea would ever be so vast To prevent us, my dear brother, my caring sister, From building the blessed by heavens bridge of peace and love ~*~ End prayer by ~Gary Bateman~ May Almighty God in His most divine and infinite wisdom help and guide all people and societies of our mortal world to begin the process of healing the divisions and problems that tear us asunder, And that we all pledge to especially help those who are least fortunate among us. Amen!! ~*~ ~*~ENYA~*~ May it be you journey on To light the day - When the night is overcome You may rise to find the sun Believe and you will find your way A promise lives within you now ~A Happy, Safe and Peaceful Christmas to One and All~ An Invitation - All are welcome to join - please feel free to Soup Mail me an approximate a 15 syllable contribution and I’ll gladly add your entry to the Poem.
