To my heart

You are broken apart

Fell in love with him

He made your light dim

He was your everything

You were his summer fling

He never texted first 

He was the worst

You still love him anyways

You thought he would be the one that stays

You were so wrong 

He made you strong

Now he’s gone you’re a mess

Seeing him causes so much stress

You loved him and he loved himself

He took care of you but now you're by yourself

He treated you like a sister or that’s what you thought

You’re broken he must’ve forgot

He never loved you as he said

You always left me on read

Even when I was dying 

You keep leaving me crying

Does he remember the long nights 

Does he remember hearing the blue and red lights

Does he remember telling me i’ll never give up on you

Guess he changed your mind and wish I knew

I remember his bright green eyes

Was it all lies?

I remember every word that he uttered

My mind is all cluttered

From the thoughts of you 

I’m getting those flashbacks of you too

They come so fast and it hits me pretty hard

He’s one of the reasons i’m scarred

He doesn’t realise how much he’s hurting me

He just doesn’t see

Maybe he’s gone blind

Thought he was kind

Guess I didn’t really know him but at the same time

I know him to the second. Maybe i was his mime.

I’m trapped in a box. 

You, My heart has walls he knows this but did he know those walls have locks?

I have to protect you now

I don’t know quite how
