Day that once today that is 
My once a day poem of how I feel
Day that once today that is
A poem to express my day today

Another one a Wednesday that is
A day that was well spent with more positive
Smiling slightly at random thoughts
Thinking of the future and all the roads needed to cross

Energy depleted mid way through the day
Where I decided to lay and meditate 
To slow down and take time to find that silence inside
That was today the day that once was yesterday

Better than Tuesday though as I must admit
The sun did shine and the clouds did roll slowly they did drift
Changing my mood shifting my mind into a special place
Instant spark of difference than the day I left behind

A day that once a day that is the yesterday that has passed
With less of the mad that causes the sad turning a day to bad
Today this day just another day that goes by
To write about the feelings of day with honesty no lies

This day that is the one that has been more helpful than the last
Not to live with the burden of the weight I call my past
At last it is the evening time where day has turned to night
Writing when my fingertips spin to leave words typed

The last notes left before I lay this day just one to rest
Another day that will be once was just a written one left
To give myself a reason to look back and recognize
That each breath I take I look up and am thankful for the sky

Air that gives this day new breath and life that is above
A day that is a day that once another day I feel more loved
Time spent thinking wishing dreaming of when
This day may be over so I may pray and fall asleep again
