Poem

Sometimes he wonders if their love is true, 
           does she really mean what she writes out of love?
She can only say to him, “I’ll always love you”,
    for he is her angel sent from up above. 
He sends her to heaven like an ivory dove. 

         Twenty-one years seems like a lifetime,
though they have at least fifty more to come-
   She whispers, “I still can’t believe you’re mine”,
for she has always been the lucky one.
             Of this love affair she shall never be done. 

            When he doubts she shall shower with compassion, 
when he fears the worst, she shall always remain-
     She will always love him with utmost passion, 
free him from his heartache and pain.
                They share a love of a lifetime, free from disdain. 

Sharing a daughter who is sassy but theirs, 
        has always been their dream out of life-
For there is no one else that cares, 
or will ever be a more loving wife. 
        She shall keep him safe free from strife. 

             Intimate moments have always been adored, 
does he know his kiss frees her from grief?
   There’s so much more of life left in store, 
for he bring her passionate relief, 
            and she will always carry a loving belief. 

          She prays every night he won’t leave, 
she can’t wait for what life will bring-
                In her heart, he has always believed
she is the melody that an ivory dove sings....
                                     for it all started when she gave him a ring.
