Spilling out all of your problems is a hard thing to do
Some people just wont understand so you keep it to you
Periodically you'll give out one single clue
Hoping that anyone will realize that you're feeling blue
Finally, when you're starting off new
You notice someone pretty fricken cool

Days past and you find everything in this person unique
You even point out that their eyebrows are on fleek
When you look at them you immediately start to freak
As time flies by, all you want is a kiss on the cheek

You grow closer just like you had hoped
Until that person gave someone else their coat
Knowing this all could’ve been provoked
All you can do now is just sit and write a note..

“What I felt was something real
You were my knight that held the shield
I know all I’ve done was kept my lips sealed
I just naturally keep things inside, concealed

All I have now is memories and a simple shirt
I should've let it out but instead I feel hurt
What you thought was nothing I thought was me, a flirt

I'm sorry I wasn't me sometimes
When I saw you with her it made me go blind
If you're wondering why I always hide
Why?! Well I just wanna sit and cry

You make me feel like I can do anything
Its the best feeling ever but with a touch of sting
I always imagine you being my king
Off together my heart shall sing

You may think this is very absurd."
